The InfatuationThe inside is sleek, the service is great, and the al pastor tacos are delicious.
Zocálo restaurant and bar is located in the Weyerhaeuser building in Pioneer Square. The tenant improvement kicked off in 2016, the space a blank canvass of concrete floor and walls. The client, Joe Bisacca is one of the founders of Elysian Brewing. Wanting to have a more hands on approach with their new restaurant venture, Joe and his wife Kirsten collaborated with Metis and Starata Architects on all aspects of interior design. Key features of this project are a 65 foot long copper curved bar, custom oval ducting, live edge redwood tables and fine woodworking details throughout. Metis has been honored by the Zocalo bar manager with our own name sake cocktail.
