Jeremy Allyn
Carpenter
Jeremy joined Metis in December of 2020 as a lead carpenter, focusing primarily on residential remodels. He has been building and creating since early childhood where he could be found painting theater sets and working on wooden boats with his father who was theater professor, architect and boat builder. His professional carpentry experience spans nearly 30 years with design-build remodeling, production finish carpentry, cabinet making, and new home construction all contributing to his resume. In addition to working in the building trades, Jeremy worked as a professional mountain guide for over a decade and in the field of avalanche education and forecasting. He has considerable management experience serving as the North America Program Director for Seattle-based guide service Mountain Madness, as well as the Executive Director of Anchorage’s Alaska Avalanche School. Before joining Metis, Jeremy worked in Washington’s Methow Valley building new homes and for a variety of design-build companies in Seattle. He became a father in spring of 2022 and still tries to carve out free time to ski and climb steep mountains.
