We worked with Metis to renovate our attic, turning it from a dark one bedroom to a full master suite with a bathroom. They were able to take the vision of our architect and bring it to life with incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail. Their in-house wood shop meant that we could do custom cabinetry throughout in order to maximize the space and ensure a cohesive design. Our builder, Mikel, in particular brought a passionate eye for detail, working through multiple mockups of the tricky parts of the build (including the coolest mirror cabinet you’ve ever seen), and taking obvious joy in building something beautiful and functional.
Our project manager was also a dream, clearly communicating each phase of the build, any requirements from us, and keeping the project moving. Metis also worked with excellent sub-contractors, and came up with an ingenious method for entry in and out which meant we could stay at home (and work at home!) for the duration of the project.
I’ve heard tons of horror stories from friends about renovations, and ours was the absolute opposite. We’re so grateful for the care and incredible work they did for us, and we’d love to work with Metis again!
