Amos West

Joining the Mētis team in 2018, Amos specializes as a framing lead for our company. A hard worker with an eye for detail and a need for speed, his expertise is most frequently utilized on custom residential projects; although Amos is equally comfortable on commercial projects as well. Teamwork, accuracy and communication on the job are very important to Amos; although he definitely gets satisfaction from some friendly production framing competition on the jobsite. Amos has been a lead framer in many of our company’s most recent residential projects, although you can also find some of his best work at the Saint Bread and Jensen Boat Yard projects in Portage Bay.

With over 15 years of construction under his belt, Amos brings a wealth of knowledge and experience onto every job. Prior to Mētis, he worked primarily in residential construction as a framer, although he did spend a few years trying his hand in road construction.

In the event that Amos gets the chance to set his nail gun down, you can find him outside enjoying local trails, riding his bike, playing billiards and enjoying cheap beer and quality whiskey.
