Chris Black

Chris brings over a decade of project management experience to Mētis. As a seasoned Project Manager with recent experience in ground up commercial construction and tenant improvement, he is drawn to Mētis for its collaborative atmosphere and refined processes, from estimating to project completion.

Throughout his career, Chris has made client service his secret weapon, ensuring that even the most complex projects run like a well-oiled machine. His adept communication and leadership skills facilitate transparent and open dialogue, fostering strong relationships with clients and ensuring their needs are met.

With a completed certification in Construction Management from the University of Washington, Chris brings not only expertise but also a healthy dose of charm to the table. Hailing from Virginia, he’s been spreading his warm personality and southern hospitality along the West Coast since 2011. And when he’s not busy transforming blueprints into reality, you’ll find him kicking a soccer ball, shredding the slopes on a snowboard, or globe-trotting with his wife and two mini sidekicks, Harvey and Mazzy.
